Topic: Language (?) problem

Ok, so I use Greek. Everything is loaded and displayed OK except some (not all, strangely) contents of the "Summary X" tab in the Main Panel. Example: My accounts name are in greek. When in Summary X and I press "Accounts" then I get a warning dialog displaying the greek characters as symbols and says: ... is not a valid floating point value EConvertError.

I tried to rename all my greek words and the problem disappeared. Could you possibly help me and guide me to a solution in using greek, if possible?

Thanks.

Re: Language (?) problem

I apologize for that bug in SummaryX (also in Statistics pane). It happens due the fact, that last stable version 2.3.2 is not full Unicode (UTF8) suppported yet. Next version corrects this bug. I plan to release the third (and last) testing version 2.3.3 today, so you can try, if this nasty bug is fixed or not.
BTW: I welcome your Greek translation of the program (if you have it).

Hi and thanks for the speedy reply! I started yesterday messing with my system locale language because I thought too, it had something to do with Unicode. Anyway, waiting eagerly for the latest beta.

Secondly, of course, I'd like to do the greek translation. Is there any handy way to proceed? Do I need to rename an existing *.lang file to greek.lang and then start translating?? I see that the *.lang file is quite technical inside. How else should I generate it?

Re: Language (?) problem

To create new language, just open program and use menu Program settings / Language / Create new language.
You can create new language from any existing language versions.

I did this but I stuck somewhere. All fields to the right pane where grey until I chose an existing lang file. Is this the right way?

edit: p.s. NEVER MIND, got it...!  smile
